This story has particular relevance once again today. During the period of the Song Dynasty (960–1279 CE), there was an imperial scholar and ‘chancellor’ called Qin Hui (1090-1155 CE). At the time that the Song Dynasty lost its northern parts to the Jin empire, Qin Hui was captured by the Jin.
