‘China exit’ limited to some American sectors — and not for home

Even for companies moving out of China, “rising labor costs are most usually the trigger,” according to Goldman’s research — a trend long predating the trade war.

Although China is no longer as competitive as many other emerging economies for labor-intensive industries, its overall advantage in manufacturing remains intact, according to Goldman.

American companies’ reluctance to reshore shows how Trump’s aggressive stance on trade with China has done little to fulfill his pledge to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.

Instead of honest and unbiased reporting, the mainstream media has twisted and distorted the numbers to scare the public into believing that their lives are at risk every time they leave their homes to shop, to go to work, or to exercise and that President Donald Trump is responsible for the more than 5 million reported cases of COVID-19 and the 175,000 deaths that have been attributed to it.

The distortions take many forms. At first, the media exclusively pushed death counts alone – guaranteed to stoke fear.

Once death counts began to fall, they lost their scare factor – but by then, testing had become more widespread. So the media began to publish positive test numbers and deaths — both daily and cumulative numbers — without context as to how many tests were conducted in a given day, the positivity rate of the tests, and how many of those who died had underlying conditions.

My position on ’The Great Reset’ is that any new world designed by the same people who presided over the last one, will not solve the fundamental ‘disease’ that has plagued humanity for centuries. A world run by ‘takers’; a world run by people that view humankind as ‘dispensable’, is a fundamentally ‘evil’ world. And that is exactly where we will end up, if we meekly accept a ’solution’ designed by the same people…even ones that have learned to put on a ‘caring mask’.
