A temporary president has been selected but the US State Department spokesman, Ned Price, on Friday supported Mr. Moïse’s argument that his term ends next February and added that only then “a new elected president should succeed President Moïse.”

Indeed, so tightly is the BBC controlled by the British state that since its earliest days its staff have been directly vetted by the British security service — MI5.
This co-ordination of the BBC with military intelligence was organised from a special office inside the BBC’s headquarters.
There was a formal procedure that all staff should be vetted by MI5 except “personnel such as charwomen [cleaners].”
The BBC agreed not to reveal the role of the British Security Services or the existence of the vetting itself.

The law would create new “dedicated offices” within each of these agencies to deal with internal threats to the country. These divisions would have a sunset clause of 10 years, meaning that—for the next decade at least—we would potentially have new police cadres conducting intelligence missions and investigations, trying to sniff out extremists and radicals in our midst. It might be safe to assume that, with time, such programs would grow—garnering more funding, personnel, and resources.
