It turns out that the UK and NATO are helping with this recount even though the law in Bosnia does not allow this. So why do some countries get a vote recount and others do not? Bosnia’s central election authorities have said that Dodik won the most votes in that election. The opposition alleged he orchestrated fraud to prevent his main challenger, Jelena Trivic, from winning.

New Russian pipeline a priority – Serb leader

Bosnia has previously obtained Russian natural gas via Ukraine and Hungary. Since January 2021, the RS gas utility switched to deliveries through TurkStream, using the connector with Serbia in Zvornik. The planned pipeline through RS would add a connector in nearby Bijeljina and 325km of pipes to help distribute gas.

A number of other “terrorist attacks” have targeted Russia’s energy infrastructure, including an attempt to blast one of the sections of the TurkStream gas pipeline which runs from Russia to Türkiye, he said.
