On November 17, Sheila Bair, the former Chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) during the financial crisis of 2008, went on CNBC to lament the lack of controls leading to the collapse of the crypto currency exchange, FTX. During the interview, Bair used the phrase “nobody looking behind the curtain.”

In July 2015, Holder rejoined Covington & Burling, the law firm at which he worked before becoming attorney general. The law firm’s clients have included many of the large banks Holder declined to prosecute for their alleged role in the financial crisis. 10-04-2022 – Dana Remus [Wikipedia], most recently Assistant to the President and White House Counsel to President Biden, has joined Covington [ & Burling] as a partner. She will practice in the firm’s Congressional Investigations, White Collar Defense and Investigations, Public Policy, and Election and Political Law practices.
Biden is going to need a lawyer once the Republicans start investigating him. I suspect that he will choose someone from Covington & Burling.
