Denial of service attacks, still. Why?

My WordPress still gets attacked, despite my visitors being practically null. As you can see, my visitors have declined by 50% since the attacks started happening. Whoever is doing it has succeeded, but I suppose they aren’t going to stop until my visitors are at zero. FYI, I don’t count the views because most of those are probably mine when I double-check the site or search for a previous post. I’ll admit that it’s discouraged me from posting. Most of the work that I’ve been doing is on YouTube (or Rumble) and working on Google Docs. I need to transfer some documents to my pages soon. Anyway, I appreciate those of you who continue to read my posts! Welcome to my new followers, as well!

It’s interesting, to me, that people are finding my WordPress site via Baidu and Yandex.

The IP has changed but it’s still WordPress’ Automattic.

  1. I have seen traffic decline to my very very modest WordPress blog with current news and articles and videos and music of interest over the last few years… The powers that be have been policing the internet in general more effectively in part by de-listing websites and points of view, and favoring some to the exclusion of others. Facebook and other social media started favoring non-political stories and banned sites out of favor… Some say there has been a lessening of interest in political news after years of Trump Derangement Syndrome and such… I don’t know. I post some stories just so I can read them without an ad on every other paragraph and videos playing on either side. What a whirlwind.

There are ‘vigilantes’ who will turn people in to social media sites to get ideas and words and pictures banned. I have been kicked off Reddit, Twitter, Boston Indymedia ( RIP ) , Youtube, et cetera, et cetera, but… they are the establishment, I’m the guy putting up leaflets on a telephone pole … and … We are many, they are few… Seek your audience where you may, who knows who will read what you have published and posted and written. Keep up the Fight! We’ve won before, we’ll win again!
