I previously mentioned that I am working on an article about SeaLight. This is something that I want to submit for publication. The only place I can think of is Antiwar.com, but I am not concerned about that right now. I am more concerned about making it easier for the average American to read.

The average American reads at a level equivalent to an eighth grader (an eight). The readability rating for my article is currently 12.65. I would have posted this article this past weekend if I was only going to publish it here or on my Substack. As of right now, there are 2017 words in the document (it was 2200 when I took the screenshots below).

My issue is that, in addition to being slow to write, I am a stickler for details and citing sources. I don’t want to skimp on information. I can only think of breaking it up into at least two parts. Even then, there’s too much information. I imagine that could cause a sensory overload. Like a cat, when if you pet it too much, it bites you! 😹
Perhaps when my mother began reading to me when I was a small child, she cursed me? I was ahead of the others in my literature and reading classes as a result. J/K!
Anyway, I am going to try resting. Maybe I’ll get lucky and finish writing the article by Christmas! /s
