Twofer: Montgomery Gentry + JMM & I

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo with Eddie Montgomery or Troy Gentry when I met them at Borders in Rockford, Illinois. I was shopping in Rockford and overheard on the radio that they were signing autographs. I had previously met Eddie when I attended a Meet & Greet with his brother, John Michael Montgomery. In fact, Eddie took this photo. JMM’s concert was the first I ever attended. Troy tragically died in a plane crash in 2017.

From a previous post, now protected:

The only concerts that I’ve been to, were mostly Country music ones. John Micheal Montgomery was my first concert. I met him and his brother, Eddie Montgomery, at the Meet-and-Greet afterward. Not long after that, I went to get Montgomery Gentry’s autographs (Eddie was half of the duo), at a now-closed Rockford music store. I wasn’t able to get tickets to their concert, unfortunately. I’ve also seen Alabama, The Beach Boys with John Stamos at Beloit Riverfest, Reba McEntire (I lost count of how many clothing changes she made), and Garth Brooks. The Garth Brooks concert was actually a live streaming event in Rosemont. I don’t listen to Country music, much, anymore.

Listening to my Country Music Faves.
