I started this week on an embarrassingly low note. I am still feeling the effects of inhaling too much CBD yesterday. It’s not supposed to be intoxicating, but it was an old bottle, so that’s on me. I threw it away, even though I desperately wanted to keep vaping it. I am out of nicotine and trying my hardest not to buy any more. Addiction sucks, and drinking lemon water is no replacement for vaping.
This level of exhaustion and the constant battle is why I’m looking at all my commitments—and the main cost is no longer money; it’s my health and energy. I simply don’t have the energy to sustain everything.
I need to start cutting back on my subscriptions:
• The Medium Partner Program costs me $5 a month. I only made $0.05, so it’s not worth it, even if being able to make the extra posts is nice.
• The YouTube Overhaul: I’m keeping my YouTube Premium subscription because it lets me multitask. I’m currently learning how to use Brand Accounts and playlist collaboration between them. My plan is to make a separate Brand Account just for my YouTube Music playlists. This way, when my Spotify subscription ends, I can fully transition and save that money.
This effort to streamline everything brings me to the biggest commitment of all: this blog. I’ve been posting here since 2017, covering serious issues like U.S. foreign policy. The server and hosting renew in April, and I’m genuinely considering retiring the entire space. It’s not the cost of the blog, as it’s free with ads; I just don’t have the energy to maintain it much anymore.
On top of the exhaustion, I’m hoping to make some significant changes in my life soon—like getting the hell out of Dodge. I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to maintain this blog if I move forward with those plans. I don’t know what the next chapter of my life will look like, so I’m leaving the book open for now. It’s time to choose the path of sustainability and focus on my health.
I appreciate everyone’s support! Thank you!

This is one of those posts which neither requires nor demands a reply. It is an avenue of creativity which “informs”. Still, and that being said, sometimes an appreciative word in the right place is a welcome addition. I see well organised thought processes balancing the body in the environment.
