Eight Years Ago Today

Eight years ago, I opened this blog as a Trump‑supporting libertarian with more opinions than analysis. I posted links, scattered research, and whatever caught my attention. It was a political scrapbook, not a project.

A lot has happened since then.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped treating foreign policy like a hobby and started writing about it seriously. The more I learned, the less patience I had for the political class in this country. Trump included. The parties included. All of them fluent in slogans, none of them interested in anything beyond corporate comfort.

If anything, I’ve drifted closer to the opposite of where I started. Call it a wannabe Communist, call it disillusionment, call it the natural outcome of watching U.S. foreign policy target any government that dares prioritize its people over corporate greed. Whatever the label, it’s a long way from where I began.

Recently, WordPress has been emailing me about renewing my domain and premium plan. I haven’t decided what to do. Without the premium plan, I’ll lose storage space—and I’ve uploaded a lot of documents and graphics over the years. If there’s anything you want to download, I’d suggest doing it before April.

Thank you to everyone who’s subscribed, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just found me. I appreciate the support.
