[Jonathan F.] Mitchell has been invoking the Comstock Act in these cases, calling for a national ban on the mailing of abortion pills and claiming that the pills enable abusers. The reality of domestic abuse and reproductive coercion, however, is much different than conservatives would have us believe. It’s far more likely that abusers will pressure their victims into pregnancy.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline has heard from hundreds of women who say their partners threatened to either report them to the cops or sue them if they had abortions.
I wonder how many of these anti-abortion politicians are in the Epstein files?
