Recruitment and far right: “I Love the Third Brigade”

The United States is putting pressure on Zelensky to lower the age of conscription again, but for the moment the Ukrainian president is rejecting this possibility. This is what Ukrainian media such as Ukrainska Pravda reported this week, referring to the mobilization of men between 18 and 25 years old, a very small population group in which the country’s future cannot afford to lose. Even before the law on mobilization was approved, which is very unpopular despite not being as harsh as foreign allies demanded, prominent figures and self-proclaimed friends of Ukraine such as US Senator Lindsey Graham have publicly encouraged Ukraine to recruit those over 18 years old despite the demographic risk that this implies for the country they claim to defend. These suggestions seem to have become a demand that is confirmed even by people who belong to the state apparatus. “If this information has come to light, it may confirm that American politicians from both parties are putting pressure on President Zelensky on the question of why there is no mobilisation for those aged 18-25 in Ukraine,” said Serhiy Leshchenko, one of Andriy Yermak’s advisers and a figure who has gone from representing the third sector, civil society in Maidan Ukraine to all kinds of well-paid positions in government or in the few state-owned companies that Kiev has not yet privatised. The past ten years show a double standard between those who have been privileged and those who have been impoverished and marginalised thanks to the European and liberal reforms of the peacetime years. However, Ukraine’s refusal to recruit its most vulnerable population group strictly responds to the future needs of the state, which, if it hopes to rebuild itself, must maintain minimum levels of youth population.

The Man Who Profited from Ukraine’s Pain

TFIGlobal

Serhiy Pashinsky, a controversial figure with ties to the 2014 Euromaidan Protests, has seen his company, Ukrainian Armoured Technology, experience a massive increase in arms sales profits, driven by European aid and war contracts. Accusations link him to violence during the protests, but these remain uninvestigated due to fears of reprisals. Western powers have largely avoided addressing the allegations to maintain Ukraine’s image and not validate Russian narratives. Pashinsky’s case highlights the complex relationships between Ukrainian oligarchs, the West, and the ongoing conflict. Watch the video to know more.

How Zelensky was Prevented From Making Peace in the Donbas

A true story censored by the media bubble

There are two Volodymyr Zelenskys: the one we have known since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, who has since been celebrated every day in the Western media as a hero with a spotless white (or green) vest; the other, who was less well-known prior to this significant escalation of the war, which, according to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, began in 2014. (Here are details on the actual start of this war in 2014).

Volodymyr Zelensky and ethnopolitics

President Zelensky has just been named by Time magazine “politician of the year 2022”. It is not to have realized his coup de force of July, in favor of the war. He had all the political parties that opposed him banned; assassinated the personalities who resisted him; controlled all the media, written, audiovisual and internet; banned the Russian language; destroyed 100 million books; confiscated many of the assets of the oligarchs, including the one who personally financed him; nationalized the assets of Russian investors and companies; and finally banned the Orthodox Church.

UNTIL FINAL VICTORY: UKRAINE’S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS WILL BE CONTROLLED BY NAZIS AND RADICALS

Source: StalkerZone, Translated by Ollie Richardson & Angelina Siard, 1/16/2019, ukraina.ru

The other day the Central Election Commission of Ukraine at a special meeting gave permission to the public organisation “National Druzhina“ to have their observers at the presidential elections that are supposed to take place on March 31st. In reality this is an unprecedented decision. Actually, a paramilitary, frankly nazi group will observe the presidential elections.

It is characteristic that in parallel the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine refused to give the Russian representatives from the OSCE the right to have observers, and the minister Klimkin even stated that they won’t be registered. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine considered this decision to be a violation of the Minsk Agreements, and the member of the Human Rights Council and the head of the council of the Russian Public Institute of Electoral Law Igor Borisov noted that the actions of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs contradict not only the Minsk Agreements, but also the norms of the OSCE.
