I sometimes joke that J.D. Vance is my evil twin. Born a year and a half before me, Vance and I are both the grandchildren of Appalachian out-migrants. He is the first in his family to obtain a university degree, and so am I. He grew up about 30 miles from where I grew up in the decaying Rust Belt cities between Dayton and Cincinnati. Jackson, from where his grandmother hailed and from whence J.D. claims his Appalachian identity, is 45 miles from my grandmother’s home town — and where I spent much of my childhood and graduated high school — in Hyden.

Hopefully, she stays an Independent. Update: Wasn’t impressed with her video. She seemed to imply that we don’t have the right to ‘freedom from religion’, which is false. As with Republicans, she complained about Conservatives being targeted but no mention of Biden also going after Socialists. The Biden Administration is going after anyone that isn’t satisfied with their policies! She seemed to be pandering to the right. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Most of them don’t know how hard it is to lose weight or if they have, they don’t understand that one weight loss plan may not work for another. Same way it is with medical treatments. One size fits all doesn’t fit all!

The Biden administration on Tuesday announced that Medicare Part B premiums will decrease in 2023, marking the first time this cost has been lowered in more than a decade.
