Majority of Voters In Wisconsin, Where Jacob Blake Was Shot, Think Trump’s Response Has Been Harmful

More than half of respondents from all six states said they support both protesters and law enforcement, as racial justice protests have erupted across the nation for over three months. Fifty-three percent of swing-state voters have a favorable view of protests for criminal justice reform, and 72 percent said they have a positive opinion on their local police department.

Despite support for cops, the majority of respondents said they agree that “we should invest more in education, mental health and social services and spend less on policing” — a notion many Black Lives Matter activists have shortened to “defund the police.”

Black Lives Matter: The Perils of Liberal Philanthropy

This carefully research article first published in 2016 shows that Black Lives Matter has been funded by philanthropists and corporate foundations including Soros’ Open Society Initiative and the Ford Foundation which has links to the CIA.

The underlying objective is ultimately to control Black Power.

How can activists take an effective and meaningful stance against neoliberalism and racism when their NGO is funded by the financial establishment.

“Manufactured Dissent”. The philanthropists are “funding dissent” with a view to controlling dissent.

The Rockefellers, Ford et al have funded the “anti-globalization movement” from the very outset of the World Social Forum (WSF).

The WSF is said to have transformed progressive movements, leading to what is described as the emergence of the “Global Left”. Nonsense.

Wall Street foundations support the protest movement against Wall Street? How convenient.

We are dealing with a network of corporate funding of so-called “progressive” organizations. This networking of funding dissent is a powerful instrument.

Real progressive movements have been shattered, largely as a result of the funding of dissent.

A campaign is ongoing across America. Black Lives Matter (which is playing a key role in combating racism and the police state) is funded by the same financial interests which are behind the deadly lockdown: WEF, Gates Foundation, Rockefeller et al.

The closure of the US economy supported by Big Money has been conducive to mass unemployment and despair. A meaningful “mass movement” against racism and social inequality cannot under any circumstances be funded by Big Money foundations.

To put it bluntly: You cannot organize a mass movement against the Empire and then ask the Empire to pay for your travel expenses.

Billionaires back Black Lives Matter

In the face of rising popular opposition to war, police violence and social inequality, the decision to advance the racialist program of Black Lives Matter is aimed at dividing the working class and preventing the emergence of an independent and unified working class movement against the capitalist system.

Black Lives Matter cashes in on black capitalism

The central purpose of “Vision 4 Black Lives,” and Black Lives Matter, has nothing to do with securing education, health care or other social rights for any section of the working class. It is to divide the working class, subordinate opposition to the Democratic Party and win more opportunities for privileged sections of the upper middle class.

Let’s not fall into the empire’s trap

If they are anti-racists and anti-colonialists, they should demand an end to the funding of the Zionist State of Israel, or an end to the colonization of Puerto Rico, or of the blockades of Cuba and Venezuela, or the lifting of the evil Nica Act, or, for example, the dismantling of the colonial structure of the Organization of American States, a living example of US colonialism and Atlanticism in our day, which routinely does such infamous things as the shameful coup d’état against the democratically elected indigenous government of Evo Morales Ayma in Bolivia.

Jacob Blake Had a Knife! Several Media Channels Don’t Say That in Their Titles!

Wisconsin officials identify Kenosha officer who shot Jacob Blake, said Blake’s car had knife, no gun

Officers arrived at Blake’s address responding to a call from a woman who said her boyfriend wasn’t supposed to be there, the state DOJ said. Officers tried to arrest Blake on a domestic warrant uncovered en route to the scene, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. One officer tased Blake, and when he continued trying to leave the scene, three officers followed him at close range. Sheskey grabbed and shot Blake after he “leaned forward” into the driver’s side door, the Wisconsin DOJ said. State officers found a knife on the floorboard, but no other weapons in the car, and it is unclear if the Kenosha police officers knew about the knife. Blake was shot less than three minutes after police arrived.

Protests Break Out in Wisconsin After Police Shoot Black Man in the Back Multiple Times at Point-Blank Range

Protests broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin and the state’s Justice Department launched an investigation Sunday evening after police officers shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake in the back multiple times at point-blank range as he tried to enter his vehicle.

Witnesses told local reporters that Blake was attempting to break up a fight prior to being shot by the officers, who closely followed Blake to his car and fired seven shots after he opened the driver-side door. According to civil rights attorney Ben Crump, Blake’s children were in the car when the officers shot their father.
