Why Many Progressives Misrepresented and Condemned the Ottawa Trucker Protest

Canada’s “Freedom Convoy” began with protesting rules implemented in January by the Canadian and later the US governments requiring truck drivers to be fully vaccinated to enter their country. It snowballed into a demonstration against dysfunctional coronavirus restrictions. The Ottawa trucker protesters demanded: No Lockdowns, No Mandates, No Vaccine Passports, and if not, that Trudeau resign.

Why Many Progressives Misrepresented and Condemned the Ottawa Trucker Protest

I’ll soon be researching CPUSA vs Alexander Dugin, etc.

I first came across Alexander Dugin (he’s an Anti-Communist and Anti-Fascist), while researching right-wing Populism and Steve Bannon. I have posted his writings, on this blog, periodically. I keep putting off reading Dugin’s Fourth Political Theory, but I guess I should as the Communist Party USA (I’m not a member but there’s a reason why I’m researching this, as I state below) has recently written some articles equating him with fascism (everyone I don’t like is a racist/fascist according to many on the Left) and attacking Caleb Maupin. Many leftists refer to Dugin as a NazBol (National Bolshevik), because he either started the National Bolshevik Party (he has since left from what I do remember) or belonged to it. Some, on the Left, have also called Caleb Maupin a NazBol because he once was at a conference with Dugin. Dugin is against American Liberalism and Imperialism but I need to refresh my memory on his other ideas. He is ‘supposedly’ a traditionalist, an ideology that I am not fond of. Michael Millerman, a Canadian instructor of philosophy, has some videos about Dugin, on his YouTube, and has interviewed him many times. I suspect that mainstream media exaggerates Dugin’s connections to Putin and that left-leaning alternative media sensationalizes his ideology. I will slowly be researching this planned infiltration into the CPUSA, by these Duginists, after the New Year (playing a game with an event that will be over soon). It may just be nothing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Capitalism is Un-Christian + Merry Christmas!

Capitalism is Un-Christian + Merry Christmas!

“Go now you rich and weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you, behold the hired laborers you have reaped in your fields which you work for by a fraud. And there was a multitude that believed and were of one heart and one soul and neither said any of them ought to of things which he possessed for his own. And they had all things in common and neither among them was lacked for as many possessors of lands and houses sold them and brought the prices of things that were sold and distribution was made unto every man according to his need.”

Caleb Maupin: The Definition of Socialism + What is Scientific Socialism?

by Caleb Maupin, Writer, Dandelion Salad, March 22, 2021

“We have seen above that the first step in the revolution by the working class is to raise the proletariat to the position of the ruling class to win the battle of democracy.

“The proletariat will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degree, all capital from the bourgeoisie, to centralize all instruments of production in the hands of the state, i.e., of the proletariat organized as the ruling class; and to increase the total productive forces as rapidly as possible.” — Karl Marx

[2016] Clinton’s Campaign & The Anti-Russian Roots of the ‘Cultural Left’

Clinton’s Campaign & The Anti-Russian Roots of the ‘Cultural Left’

To understand the unique rhetorical style that Clinton has embraced, one must understand what happened at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel back in 1949. Despite the United States being in an anti-communist frenzy, with the House Un-American Activities committee in full swing, and many Communist Party members being sent to federal or state prisons, the Moscow-aligned Communist Party scored a key public relations victory.

On March 25th, 1949 the “Scientific and Cultural Conference for World Peace” opened in New York City, and gave voice to a loud, solid critique of US foreign policy. Albert Einstein, Will Geer, Arthur Miller, Aaron Copeland, Lillian Hellman, Frank Oppenheimer, Paul Robeson, W.E.B. Dubois, and many of the most well respected cultural and intellectual figures of the time took the stage at the conference. The speeches not only denounced the military build-up against the Soviet Union, but also defended Soviet military interventions, and presented the USSR as a friendly, socialist society, not the “Iron Curtain” or “Evil Empire” portrayed in US media. The US Central Intelligence Agency watched with anger as images of the Waldorf Peace Conference were distributed by media outlets across the planet, discrediting the United States and raising the prestige of the Soviet Union.

In response, the following year the CIA launched a project called the “Congress for Cultural Freedom.” Still today, the project is considered to be one of the agency’s greatest achievements of the Cold War era. The CIA brags about the project on its website saying it involved: “a cadre of energetic and well-connected staffers willing to experiment with unorthodox ideas and controversial individuals if that was what it took to challenge the Communists at their own game.”
