Years of internal DHS memos, emails, and documents — obtained via leaks, Freedom of Information Act requests, and an ongoing lawsuit, as well as public reports — illustrate an expansive effort by the agency to influence tech platforms.

The hit list of the Ukrainian nationalists (aka “Myrotvorets”) that publishes personal information on the people deemed as “enemies of the Kiev regime” has been endangering the lives of children, journalists and ordinary people since 2014. The Russian Mission to the UN in Geneva has transmitted an open letter from the “Foundation to Battle Injustice” NGO to Volker Türk, the UNHCHR, regarding the malicious activities of “Myrotvorets.” The letter, signed by the journalists who are listed on the “Myrotvorets” and receive death threats, and the journalists who wish to stop these flagrant violations of human rights, calls on the UNHCHR to condemn the activities of “Myrotvorets.” The Russian Mission to the UN in Geneva joins this call and urges the High Commissioner to pay special attention, duly assess and publicly react to the existence and operation of “Myrotvorets,” which violates human rights and puts people’s lives in jeopardy. Hopefully, she stays an Independent. Update: Wasn’t impressed with her video. She seemed to imply that we don’t have the right to ‘freedom from religion’, which is false. As with Republicans, she complained about Conservatives being targeted but no mention of Biden also going after Socialists. The Biden Administration is going after anyone that isn’t satisfied with their policies! She seemed to be pandering to the right. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Biden pardons thousands for ‘simple possession’ of marijuana

According to the White House, no one is currently in federal prison solely for “simple possession” of the drug, but the pardon could help thousands overcome obstacles to renting a home or finding a job.

It remains to be seen whether governors follow Biden’s lead. Erik Altieri, executive director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, said extending the action to states could help millions of Americans.

While District of Columbia residents have passed Initiative 71 legalizing the possession and home cultivation of marijuana for personal use under DC law, those provisions only apply when one is on DC property; not federal property. (Federal land comprises 18 square miles within the District of Columbia.)

If no one is in prison, for federal possession, then this is basically a nothingburger! It doesn’t mean that Governors will do the same, as he is only encouraging them to! Democrats will make a big deal, out of it, while Republicans will freak out!
