Twitter confirms its ‘Project Guardian’ keeps an eye on today’s main character

According to Bloomberg, some users enrolled in Project Guardian in the past include makeup artist James Charles, Egyptian activist Wael Ghonim [Regime Change Asset*], as well as former US Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Scott Gottlieb [Pfizer Director]. Twitter has also used the program to protect journalists who cover controversial topics, like the January riots or 8chan.

The 533-1 delegate vote set in motion a series of events that would dominate the next two and a half decades of world history.

The World Economic Forum, an international group that works to “shape global, regional and industry agendas,” has formed a new “Global Coalition for Digital Safety” that’s made up of Big Tech executives and government officials and intends to come up with new “innovations” to police “harmful content and conduct online.”

Long time Techdirt readers will already be screaming about this. This claim is not just wrong, it’s very, very ignorant about the 1st Amendment. The “falsely shouting fire in a crowded theater” line was a throwaway line in an opinion by Justice Holmes that was actually about jailing someone for handing out anti-war pamphlets. It was never actually standard for 1st Amendment jurisprudence, and was effectively overturned in later cases, meaning it is not an accurate statement of law.
