The view count increased by 100 in just one hour since I first received a notification from WordPress. The numbers just aren’t adding up, and my website is experiencing slow access issues. The last time this happened, it was due to a denial-of-service attack about a year ago when I was deeply involved in researching the Philippines’ ‘Assertive Transparency Initiative.’ It’s interesting how these issues have resurfaced now that I’ve returned to this topic. Unfortunately, I let my Netgear Armor security subscription lapse, so I didn’t receive any notifications this time.

There are significant datapoints indicating that Gaza itself will become a Network State site. This includes documents from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office stating that the site will be used for a free trade zone and basis of new cities, as well as an energy and manufacturing hub. Trump has spoken extensively on this theme; in 2025, Trump posted an AI-generated video depicting Gaza as a Trump-themed luxury resort region, describing his idea at the White House during a visit with Netanyahu:

“The U.S will take over the Gaza Strip. We’ll do a job with it. We will own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous bombs and other weapons. We will level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.”

I might just report this to the FBI to see if they can trace the Bitcoin address (if they can seize cryptocurrency, they can trace it). Neither the name nor email came up on an internet search. I tried InfoTracer, but nothing came up there either. It’s spam, but it is concerning that they addressed it to my legal name and mailing address. Although, they could have gotten the information from a data leak. I only use the email for paying bills and have changed any passwords that were reportedly leaked (Apple notifies me).
