Fully vaccinated people susceptible to ‘long COVID’: Fauci

Dr. Anthony Fauci is warning that fully vaccinated people are also susceptible to “long COVID” if they have a breakthrough infection.

“We already know that people who get breakthrough infections and don’t go on to get advanced disease requiring hospitalization, they too are susceptible to long COVID,” Fauci told McClatchy. “You’re not exempt from long COVID if you get a breakthrough infection.”

Pfizer has kept the profitability of its vaccine sales opaque. The United States, for example, is paying $19.50 for each Pfizer dose. Israel agreed to pay Pfizer about $30 per dose, according to multiple media reports.

The former FDA chief said the U.S. government has purchased enough vaccines to give booster shots to its entire population, stockpiling the vaccines as a “national security matter.”

Expired Vaccines! “Israel” Planned to Extend Expiration Date of Pfizer Doses

Swapping soon-to-expire COVID vaccines is one thing, but extending the expiry date is a whole new level!

The “Israeli” had previously tried to swap its expired stockpiled coronavirus shots with the United Kingdom, and before that with the Palestinian authority.

Under the exchange, the “Israeli” entity, which currently has an excess of doses, would swap around 1 million of its Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines that are due to expire on July 30 with fresh vaccines.

While the delta variant continues to hit unvaccinated people the hardest, some vaccinated people could be carrying higher levels of the virus than previously understood and are potentially transmitting it to others, Walensky told reporters on a call Tuesday. She added the variant behaves “uniquely differently from past strains of the virus.”
