Once euthanasia is legal, the expansion of the act is inevitable

The Politico published a pro-euthanasia article by Claudia Chiappa and Lucia Mackenzie on December 29, 2024. Chiappa and Mackenzie are suggesting that the legalization of euthanasia is inevitable but when they interview Theo Boer, a former member of a Netherlands euthanasia review committee he actually tells them that the expansion of euthanasia, once legal is inevitable. Boer states:

“I have seen no jurisdiction in which the practice has not expanded, not one single jurisdiction,”

“By imposing really strict criteria we can slow down the expansion … but they will not prevent the expansion.”

Once euthanasia is legal, the expansion of the act is inevitable

Another thing that we cannot let pass nor overlook is the fact that the chief executive of the enemy state officially and personally used the word “the end of regime” under the eyes of the world.

Would we simply regard it as the man’s senility?

It may be taken as a nonsensical remark from the person in his dotage who is not at all capable of taking the responsibility for security and the future of the U.S., an old man with no future, as it is too much for him to serve out two-year remainder of his office term.

MacFarlane points out that some of the best opposition to both the policies that provoked Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and NATO’s subsequent response is from populist right-wingers. But those very same people throw all their logic out the window when the topic turns from Russia to China.

It’s sad that the police didn’t think about the possibility of these people having low blood sugar (lack of training?!)! I grew up with a diabetic and when their blood sugar gets too low, they tend to slur their words and their breath can smell like alcohol!
