President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated Kurt Campbell, the hard-charging architect of the US “pivot” to Asia to face a rising China, as the State Department’s number two, a sign of priorities despite Middle East turmoil.
WASHINGTON — Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., said on Friday that he’s challenging President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination for president because he doesn’t think Biden can win next year’s general election.
Muslim and Arab-Americans say their support was critical to Biden’s win in Michigan. Some warn they won’t back him again over his blanket support for Israel.
Knew the majority, of this, but hadn’t put it all together in one place. New, to me, was her support of the Kurdish militias. I’ll probably duplicate this, onto its own page, where I can add more to it at a later date!

In a break from its hysterical coverage of the existential threat posed by Donald Trump, the Washington Post – house organ of the Democratic National Committee – cautions us of the other menace, China. “When the leader of this impoverished Central American country visited Beijing in June,” we are warned, “China laid out the warmest of welcomes.”
UYGUR: So how do we get past that? That’s why I’m desperate enough to think, maybe I should do it. And I’ll tell you why. Because let’s say that somebody like me gets in the race. The Democratic voters are dying for an alternative. They keep saying every poll, for God’s sake, give us someone else. Give us someone else. If someone like me were to get the 20 points, do you have any idea how quick Newsom and Whitmer would enter the race?
Biden has never been good at saying no. He should have resisted the choice of Harris, who was a colleague of his beloved son Beau when they were both state attorneys general. He should have blocked then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, which has done considerable damage to the island’s security. He should have stopped his son Hunter from joining the board of a Ukrainian gas company and representing companies in China — and he certainly should have resisted Hunter’s attempts to impress clients by getting Dad on the phone.
He shouldn’t have overthrown a democratically-elected president!
Advisers are suggesting Randy Credico to lie low—keep out of sight—because too many journalists, activists, academics and dissidents placed on this hit-list coincidentally wind up dead, sometimes only days after being listed. Once killed, the Ukrainian word for “LIQUIDATED” is plastered across their pictures in big red letters—as in the listing (below) of Russian journalist Darya Dugina, who was blown up by a car bomb.
