Classified war documents detailing secret U.S. and NATO plans for building up the Ukrainian military before a planned offensive against Russia were posted this week on social media channels, senior U.S. officials said.

The main suspect in the murder of prominent Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky, Darya Trepova, has admitted she was recruited by a man with ties to the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), news outlet Shot claimed on Monday, citing sources. Tatarsky was killed on Sunday by a blast from an improvised explosive device.
Despite the UN’s apparent disinterest in pursuing a broader inquiry, Russia claimed this week that it would continue to pursue an international effort. “We will do everything in our power to continue to insist and to initiate such an international investigation,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters during a conference call.
The White House offered the proposal within days of rolling out a military aid package for Kiev that included main battle tanks, reflecting a growing rift in the Joe Biden administration.
RUSSIA’S Press Secretary to the President, Dmitry Peskov, spoke on Thursday, February 2, about the news that the Mozart Group, America’s answer to Russia’s Wagner Group – Putin’s network of mercenaries and de facto private army – was apparently ‘leaving’ Ukraine and said not to exaggerate the PMC’s significance.
The Ukrainian Air Force says the apartment complex was hit by a Russian Kh-22 missile, which Kyiv says it does not have the equipment to shoot down. Peskov suggested that the strike had been the result of Ukrainian “anti-aircraft counter-missiles” intercepting the Russian missile, saying that “some representatives of the Ukrainian side” had reached the same conclusion.
Oleksiy Arestovych, who advises the Ukrainian president’s office, said on Saturday evening that it looked as though the Russian missile had fallen onto the apartment building after being shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. The comment sparked anger in Ukraine, prompting him to apologize. He then retracted his online apology, saying that he had made clear in his initial comments that his conclusion was only a preliminary theory. Dnipro, a city of almost a million people which serves as a crucial supply hub for Ukrainian forces in the eastern Donbas region, has come under repeated bombardment from Russian missiles.

Video footage published by Vladimir Rogov, a Russian-appointed official in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia province, showed workers mounting a screen of what appeared to be some kind of transparent sheeting on wires above dozens of concrete cylinders about 5 metres (16 feet) high.

Both Kyiv and Moscow have accused each other of recklessly shelling the plant, whose six reactors are all off line.
The “concrete cylinders” are part of the dry cask storage system, where the spent nuclear fuel is stored. On another note, Reuters still can’t admit that Russia isn’t shelling itself!? Why would they even bother to do this if they were?!
Update on Russian military operations in and around Ukraine for November 16, 2022
– Russia continues its campaign targeting Ukrainian infrastructure with missiles and drones;
– A recent barrage consisted of over 90 missiles, significantly degrading Ukraine’s power grid;
– The West has said since April Russia was running out of missiles, yet large-scale use of missiles continues;
– Russia is also now using long-range precision kamikaze drones meaning Russia appears to have a growing number of long-range precision weapons;
– During the recent barrage it appears at least 2 Ukrainian air defense missiles missed their targets and struck civilians in Poland;
– After claiming Russia is a threat to Europe, it is a terrible irony that Ukraine is responsible for the first strike on NATO territory since Russian operations began in late February;
