It airs on an online TV channel set up by former Donald Trump advisor and far-right extremist Steve Bannon and was started by Kelvyn Alp, an extremist known for agitating for armed resistance against the New Zealand government in the early 2000s.

While the exact nature of the relationship between Himalaya New Zealand and Counterspin Media is unclear, a representative from the former was the first guest on the latter.
I haven’t found any real connection to the protests, outside of possibly promoting them, on his podcast, and Counterspin Media covering NZ. Another note, watched this video and it was the counter-protesters blocking traffic in Vancouver, Canada. They were calling the convoy members white supremacists/KKK (no visible KKK signs, even). 🙄
