Read More »Someone just asked how old I am on YouTube. My main focus online is to highlight viewpoints that Western mainstream media often overlooks or misrepresents. I keep things fun and lighthearted-that’s my way of staying young at heart—but the goal is always to inform. I’m open to casual chats or discussions with anyone. If you’re up for being online friends, that’s great—age or other details don’t really matter to me. Just to be clear, though, I’m not looking for anything beyond friendship.
Among the many problems that demand the consideration and attention of contemporary mankind, sexual problems are undoubtedly some of the most crucial. There isn’t a country or a nation, apart from the legendary “islands”, where the question of sexual relationships isn’t becoming an urgent and burning issue. Mankind today is living through an acute sexual crisis which is far more unhealthy and harmful for being long and drawn-out. Throughout the long journey of human history, you probably won’t find a time when the problems of sex have occupied such a central place in the life of society; when the question of relationships between the sexes has been like a conjuror, attracting the attention of millions of troubled people; when sexual dramas have served as such a never-ending source of inspiration for every sort of art.
I was recommended Khaled Hosseini’s book, “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by someone I’ve been conversing with on Goodreads. While it’s fiction, it appears that this person takes it how Muslims really are. From the critical reviews that I’ve read, so far, my immediate takeaway is that the book is Anti-Communist (the Soviets didn’t invade Afghanistan) and Islamophobic. Others have said that it’s racist and makes the case for ‘humanitarian intervention’ aka invasion based on women’s rights or children’s rights.
