Social-Media Account Overseen by Former Navy Noncommissioned Officer Helped Spread Secrets

There is no evidence that Ms. Bils, who had a security clearance during her Navy service, has used that access to steal any classified information herself. “I obviously know the gravity of top-secret classified materials. We didn’t leak them,” she said.

Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, a spokesman for the Pentagon, referred requests for comment on Ms. Bils and her role in reposting classified information to the Justice Department, which declined to comment

The NYT worked feverishly to find the identity of the guy leaking TS docs on Discord. Ironically, if they same guy had leaked to the NYT, we’d be working feverishly to conceal it.

New York Times military correspondent accuses paper of double standards for working ‘feverishly’ to find Pentagon leaker – whose identity colleagues would have ‘concealed’ if he’d given documents to them

His arrest was the culmination of a week-long scramble by the media and the U.S. security services to find him. The charge was led by [NED- & Soros-funded] Bellingcat, the investigative journalism group, and saw The New York Times and Washington Post battle to find more detail about the leaks and the person behind them.

GOP Stops Pretending It Ever Actually Cared About ‘Antitrust Reform’

To be clear, despite the press narrative to the contrary, I don’t think either party is particularly serious about antitrust reform. Congress is simply too grotesquely corrupt, and the combined cross-industry lobbying opposition to meaningful reform too great, to currently be overcome without some sort of major policy and cultural trajectory shift and a massive upheaval in Congress.

Big Tech Antitrust Push in Congress Is Blunted by GOP-Led House

The appointment of Massie, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology-trained inventor who has filed dozens of patents, signals that the Judiciary Committee under Chair Jim Jordan of Ohio will shift its focus away from legislation aimed at curbing the power of the largest tech companies. Jordan has been more focused on free-speech issues, including big tech’s perceived liberal bias.

“We’re all united in wanting to stop the censorship of conservatives and the suppression of free speech,” Jordan said in an interview. “That’s going to be a focus of the full committee work.”

Funny, that’s not what Massie told Breitbert. 🤷🏼‍♀️

On MSNBC and “Authoritarianism”

MSNBC opinion columnist Zeesham Aleem just penned the latest in what’s become a parade of hit pieces from mainstream outlets directed at me and other independent journalists. Even by the low standards of the genre, “How the populist left has become vulnerable to the populist right” is a humorous standout. It argues that after I spent a month detailing how the FBI, DHS, DOD, CIA and other agencies built a system for mass delivery of censorship requests to firms like Twitter and Facebook, I helped fuel a subculture that “could funnel people from leftism to authoritarianism.”

Me.

Biden’s election proved the usefulness of such a tool. The campaign against Musk’s Twitter will thereby likely intensify. So will his effort to fight back.

More popcorn please.

MoA links to an article by Matt Taibbi re: Hunter’s laptop. Matt points the NYT story, Joe Biden, His Son and the Case Against a Ukrainian Oligarch, which claims that Mykola Zlochevsky was the owner of Burisma Holdings. Zlochevsky did not own Burisma, at the time, Ihor Kolomoisky did! In 2012, Burisma changed owners to Privat Group, which was owned by Kolomoisky. On another note, the following video is interesting (despite Elon’s Starlink connection cutting out often). He claims that Twitter will be dedicated to the truth. Let’s see if he continues censoring people (re: Scott Ritter, Garland Nixon, etc). Like MoA asks, please pass the popcorn!
