The political role of Jacobin and the DSA is to prevent at all costs a political break with bourgeois politics in general and the Democratic Party in particular. Theirs is the politics of the upper middle class, which is determined by the effort, on the one hand, to obtain positions for themselves within the state apparatus and, on the other hand, to prevent an independent mobilization of the working class against capitalism and for socialism.

What “The Great Reset” Is and Why It Should Scare You
So, no, there is not a communist conspiracy to use COVID-19 and global warming as an excuse to establish the dreaded “New World Order.” The capitalists behind “The Great Reset” are not interested in destroying capitalism, and most of them are probably well meaning.

Capitalism – not ‘humanity’ – is killing the world’s wildlife
From carbon emissions to ecological footprints, the richest 10% of people are having the greatest impact. Furthermore, there is no recognition that the effects of climate and biodiversity collapse are overwhelming felt by the poorest people first – the very people who are contributing least to the problem. Identifying these inequalities matters because it is this – not “humanity” per se – that is the problem, and because inequality is endemic to, you guessed it, capitalist systems (and particularly their racist and colonial legacies).
The catch-all word “humanity” papers over all of these cracks, preventing us from seeing the situation as it is. It also perpetuates a sense that humans are inherently “bad,” and that it is somehow “in our nature” to consume until there is nothing left. One tweet, posted in response to the WWF publication, retorted that “we are a virus with shoes”, an attitude that hints at growing public apathy.
Question RT More!
All of this is being pushed by American corporate media, but it is now joined by RT via Malzberg and his guest Justin Danhof, the general counsel for the “conservative” National Center for Public Policy Research. The NCPPR is “dedicated to providing free market solutions to today’s public policy problems.” In other words, it is a right-wing think tank.
I’ve noticed that RT has been publishing more right-wing propaganda since they’ve been made to register as a foreign agent. As if they’re now required to, or something.

Mitch Landrieu: The price we have paid for not confronting racism
While certainly not perfect, and a product of its time, one of the main conclusions of the report was that the United States was “moving toward two societies, one black, one white — separate and unequal.” And this growing segregation and inequality was fueling unrest.
