Mail fraud? Biden’s postal inspectors tracked pro-gun activists

The U.S. Postal Service monitored protesters across the country, snooping on Americans focused on issues involving guns and President Biden’s election, according to records obtained by The Washington Times.

“We determined that certain proactive searches iCOP conducted using an open-source intelligence tool from February to April 2021 exceeded the Postal Inspection Service’s law enforcement authority,” the Postal Service watchdog said in a March audit. “Furthermore, we could not corroborate whether other work analysts completed from October 2018 through June 2021 was legally authorized.”

Meet Our New “Secretary Of State”…Nancy Pelosi

Meet Our New “Secretary Of State”…Nancy Pelosi

Pelosi has also complicated Biden’s role by calling on the White House to designate Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. The terrorist designation would complicate any possible efforts to address a resolution of the war in Ukraine or the current imbroglio in the Caucasus. The United States should be looking for ways to effect greater cooperation with Russia in order to advance conflict resolution around the world; arms control and disarmament efforts; and easing the consequences of the climate and Covid crises. The terrorism designation would also lead to secondary sanctions that would drive up global prices and worsen an inflationary situation that could lead to an international recession.

As a result of Pelosi’s meanderings, we now have the worst tensions in the Taiwan Strait in nearly 30 years; greater Ukrainian expectations of expanded U.S. largesse; and a threat to the fragile truce in the Caucasus that Putin has tried to engineer. Can we look forward to more travel from Pelosi to the tense Central Asian border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, where 100 or so were killed in fighting over the past weekend; to the West Bank; or to Northern Ireland, which is facing renewed tensions? So many crises; so little time.

US, Canadian War Ships Sail Through Taiwan Strait Shortly After Biden’s Pledge to Go to War with China

By Kyle Anzalone and Connor Freeman | The Libertarian Institute | September 20, 2022

US and Canadian warships sailed through the Taiwan Strait, which China views as its territorial waters, on Tuesday. Since US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei last month, tensions between Washington and Beijing have soared. The transit occurred just days after President Joe Biden pledged to defend Taiwan with military force against China.

How the US is Using the Azeri-Armenian Conflict to “Extend” Russia

Sep 19, 2022 – Many have noted the suspicious and very convenient timing regarding Azerbaijan-Armenia hostilities which serve as an additional distraction for Russia amid its special military operation in Ukraine and its ongoing operations in Syria.

In addition to a recent visit by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Armenia, anti-CSTO protests promoted by US government-funded media organizations in Armenia point toward events being much more than convenient timing and instead similar to US-engineered unrest seen in Ukraine in 2014.

“It’s Not Over”: While Biden Touts Rail Deal, Workers Have Yet to Vote—And Many Remain Skeptical

A national rail strike could still be on the table if rank-and-file workers reject the tentative agreement announced by the White House this week.

Why Revolution? DPRK: History of Continuous US War Games Provocations Against North Korea Since 1953

We are very pleased to republish an excellent history of the massive campaign of threats and intimidation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK, aka North Korea) by the United States and its puppet government in South Korea since 1953. This document was published in English on one of the official news websites of the DPRK – the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on 4 September 2022.

The DPRK is a Stalinist workers state whose rather austere brand of socialism is entirely conditioned by this continual threat of war from the United States and South Korea. Every attempt by the North Koreans to “open up” their country economically has been met with extreme hostility and renewed threats of war from the United States Government, who can never forgive the DPRK for the profound humiliation that heroic socialist workers state inflicted on the US during the Korean War as it successfully defended itself from one of the most murderous and genocidal attacks ever seen in world history. The increasingly threatening statements from the US Government of “Lesser Evil” Democrat Joe Biden to target and annihilate the North Korean leadership in a nuclear attack is what has led the DPRK to increase its expansion of its nuclear arsenal and to publish a revised statement of its intent to use nuclear weapons if necessary to defend itself and its people from any attack from the USA, South Korea or any other regional puppet regime. We say: the DPRK has every right to possess and to use nuclear weapons to defend itself from an attack launched by US imperialism or its puppets. We agree with the latest statement published by North Korea regarding its revised policy regarding the use of nuclear weapons to deter a war on the Korean peninsula and to utilize those weapons against the US forces in South Korea should they attempt to attack the DPRK. We will be republishing the text of that declaration of the DPRK in a new article as soon as possible.

Roger Waters: War, Peace, Art and Activism

Aug 18, 2022 Pink Floyd cofounder Roger Waters joins David Swanson, Executive Director of World Beyond War and historian Todd Pierce in a rousing discussion of current events including the proxy war in Ukraine, the case of Julian Assange, Palestine, the media, and the role of art and music in activism.

The 78 year old music icon, Waters is currently on a tour that he has dubbed the “This Is Not A Drill” tour which he says is intended to be part of a “global movement” driving home themes of war, poverty and injustice. The concerts are tantamount to a series of spectacular political rallies with tabling from Vets For Peace and other social justice groups. Originally scheduled just prior to the US presidential elections in 2020, the tour was postponed due to the pandemic. In a video announcing the tour, Waters said “This tour will be part of a global movement by people who are concerned by others to affect the change that is necessary. That’s why we’re going on the road.” His passion comes through loud and clear in this discussion. Roger Waters co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd in 1965 which he played with until 1985 after which he embarked on a solo career releasing several more albums. Roger is one of the highest grossing performers of all time.

David Swanson is an American anti-war activist, blogger and prolific author. He is the Executive Director of World Beyond War which he cofounded with long time anti war tax organizer, David Hartsough.

Major Todd Pierce (Retired) was with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corp and his job was to defend three of the detainees at Guantanamo Bay. He is a military historian and activist.

US Provocations Over Taiwan and Beijing’s Steady Remedy

The early August visit by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took place amid heavy protests from Beijing. The visit was a blatant violation of Washington’s bilateral agreement with Beijing regarding the “One China” policy as well as a violation of international law regarding political independence and territorial integrity.
