Doumbouya orders Foreign Mining companies to process bauxite in Guinea, sets May as deadline

“Despite the mining boom in the bauxite sector, we have to admit that the expected revenues are below expectations, and you and we cannot continue this game of fools that perpetuates great inequality in our relations” Doumbouya said.

The issue of countries earning less from their resources cuts across Africa. In some cases, the nation earns less than 40% of its own resources whilst the multinationals walk away with the big cuts. Do you think all other African countries should emulate this approach?

Israel’s ban on Palestinian spouses becomes permanent law– a triumph for ‘Jewish state’

What Shaked calls “a state of all its citizens” is really what we would normally call a democratic state, where basic rights like family unification are ensured. Whoever is fooled by Israel’s security and “terror” arguments, should read Shaked’s last tweet text again. If you want to summarize it even further, it really just says “A democratic state – 0”.

Living in an Age of War: Russia, Ukraine and the Way Out

The events that have unfolded in Ukraine have been very unsettling. As Ukrainians flee their country and the west imposing the harshest of the sanctions in Russia, it is imperative that we delve deeper into what led to this chaos in the first place. People have been quick enough to pick sides without actually knowing what exactly is happening. Zyuganov Gennady Andreevich, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation had this to say about the conflict:

Communist Party of Russia Calls for Increased Nationalization, Dedollarization, an End to Digital ID and Mass Vaccinations

“The answer to external pressure should be a radical change in domestic policy”.

The 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine was carried out with the support of the United States and the European Union. It brought to power extremely reactionary forces imbued with the poison of Banderite Nazism and Russophobia. The burning of people in the Trade Union House in Odessa became a bitter symbol of the anti-people intentions of those who sought power. A course was taken to sever ties with Russia, to segregate the Russian population. The response of the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol was their return to their native harbor. The population of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts followed the path of independence. Bandera’s attempts to “pacify” the DNR and LNR resulted in many thousands of casualties.

Crisis in Peru: the president’s party left the government of Pedro Castillo + Can Pedro Castillo Save His Presidency?

Crisis in Peru: the president’s party left the government of Pedro Castillo | Peru Libre turned to the opposition

The new cabinet that Cerrón calls the right wing has resumed diplomatic relations with Venezuela, broken since the government of the business right of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (2016 – 2018), active promoter of the failed Lima Group. This decision has upset the right wing and the mainstream media, which promote a permanent state of war against the Nicolás Maduro regime and pressure the government in that direction. The new cabinet has marked a position on the issue, far from the right

In a brief television address, Castillo said that it was “time to put Peru above ideologies and isolated party impositions” and thanked Bellido for his services. The head of state added that he had “made these decisions in favor of governability” and that “the balance of powers is the bridge between the rule of law and democracy. It must seek tranquility and cohesion in government.” The president also said that his administration would “promote private investment,” but “without corruption and with social responsibility, and prioritizing productive diversification.”

Can Pedro Castillo Save His Presidency?

Indeed, it is that very identity that, along with widespread distaste for the political class, helped sweep Castillo, previously affiliated with the centrist Possible Peru party, to power. Despite Cerrón’s constant talk of supposed demand for revolutionary change from “the people,” recent polling shows most Peruvians are actually centrists, keen for incremental change to make the Peruvian state more efficient, clean, and responsive. Just 1 in 4 voters identifies as “left,” and that includes the center left. Nevertheless, with voting compulsory in a society worn out by the pandemic and never-ending political scandals, Castillo, with his humble, provincial authenticity, managed to strike Peruvians as the least bad candidate.

So, Castillo was always a centrist! Center-left, Progressive International, portrayed him as a Socialist! I’ve been skeptical since I know that PI is all about saving capitalism.

Answering The Empire’s (and the Fake Left’s) Campaign of Baldfaced Lies Against China

Answering The Empire’s (and the Fake Left’s) Campaign of Baldfaced Lies Against China

“In a time of great need the US government is letting its citizens freeze, go broke, get evicted, and die of preventable illnesses, so obviously it’s of paramount importance right now that Americans rise up with one voice and direct their righteous anger at China. I’m developing a special disdain for people who mindlessly regurgitate US anti-China narratives, especially people who are normally skeptical of US government claims. There’s just no excuse for this nonsense. The geostrategic agendas are so obvious, the barefaced liars so familiar, and the facts so readily available for anyone intellectually honest enough to look”.
