The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has alleged that the United States (US) State Department and “deep state” elements in the US are working to destabilise India in collaboration with a group of investigative journalists and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Reuters reported on Friday.
How Sullivan first caught the attention of the U.S. foreign policy officialdom is itself a window into the purpose of the organization. It begins with a coup in the Philippines. State Department official Michael Henning had previously been stationed there. In 2001, the non-profit outlet the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) exposed corruption by then-President Joseph Estrada, a nationalist with a standoffish relationship to the U.S. The exposé led to an impeachment inquiry, which fell short. But it also produced major street protests, leading to his ouster in a coup [EDSA 2]. The journalist’s pen was not just mightier than the sword, but less embarrassing to wield on a global stage in an era where overtly U.S.-backed military coups had gone out of fashion (if not entirely out of the toolkit). Henning was a major booster of PCIJ—which has been the beneficiary of grants from the National Endowment for Democracy—relaying its effectiveness to his colleagues.
The article refers to the Arab Spring and the Yugoslav Wars, but not how the U.S. was involved.
The incoming Trump administration is poised to pick up where the Biden administration has left off on the decades-spanning centerpiece of US foreign policy ‒ the encirclement and containment of China.
The Walton Family Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and a coalition of fishermen’s associations and environmental institutions join forces to promote responsible fishing practices.
President-elect Donald Trump announced Friday that he’ll nominate former George Soros money manager Scott Bessent, an advocate for deficit reduction, to serve as his next treasury secretary.
The implementation of yet another U.S. initiative may allow it to interfere in the information policy of ASEAN and control the cyberspace of all of Southeast Asia.
This reminds me of the tech camps that were held in Ukraine before the Euromaidan. Anyone who has been following me for a while knows where that led to.Except, replace China with Russia.
The Cambodia National Rescue Movement is affiliated with Liberal International, the same organization which is affiliated with Vente Venezuela, the party of María Corina Machado. My Indonesia and Bangladesh documents can be found on my documents page, along with the Atlas Network one.
My article has only been reposted on news aggregator sites (the Reddit ones are bots). At least one them (NewsNow) is funded by the U.K. Government, Soros, and Omidyar to combat so-called misinformation. 😹
One of my YouTube subscriptions just put out a video roasting MAGA Communists for supporting Iran. While I’ve criticized MAGA Communism in the past, I had to respectfully disagree with their take on Iran. The following are just a few links to disprove the Western lies about Iran. I threw in some commentary as well. FYI, they may have deleted it by now, thanks to some of the comments.Although, I appreciate them admitting that they may have a flawed view of Iran, I’m still leaving this post up for the corrections.
