Fact Check: NO Evidence Two ‘Far-Right Websites’ Attributed to Pelosi Attack Suspect David DePape Were Faked + My Two Cents
Does the fact that two of David DePape’s webpages were not archived in the Internet Wayback Machine until after the attack on Paul Pelosi prove they were “fabricated” after the suspect’s arrest to smear conservatives? No, that’s not true: The webpages attributed to DePape were so small and obscure that they would likely not be archived in that database without someone submitting them, according to a spokesman for Archive.org. The pages were archived hours after police named David DePape as the person arrested for attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband. Archive.org “patrons” manually used the “save this now” feature, the spokesman told Lead Stories, which saved a copy in case the original was taken down. The Wayback Machine doesn’t automatically archive every page on the web.
Fact Check: NO Evidence Two ‘Far-Right Websites’ Attributed to Pelosi Attack Suspect David DePape Were Faked
I haven’t really been following this story, except for a couple of internet searches earlier. I did see The Gateway Pundit claim and felt that it was stupid. Anyway, the Democrats are blaming MAGA supporters and MAGA supporters are blaming Antifa (because he supposedly lived in yellow bus in front of a house with a BLM sign—and a rainbow flag). He claims to have been radicalized by GamerGate in a couple of blog posts. He blogged about many things that really can’t be contributed to any one political ideology. At least one post that I recall seeing was a Jimmy Dore video and a couple were from Steve Turley and Mike Lindell. I saw at least one claim that he belonged to the Green Party, at one time. The man was homeless, with mental health issues, and an alleged drug addiction. I’m curious about his motive, (haven’t found one, yet, and may never since both sides want to control the narrative). Was it really because of a so-called political ideology or was he upset that Pelosi’s (or anyone in Congress, for that matter) done nothing for homelessness, etc?! If Congress did more to solve poverty, and homelessness, (instead of giving the Military Industrial Complex handouts) maybe they wouldn’t have to worry about “domestic extremism”?! Instead, they’ll just offer bandages, like gun control—maybe hammer control (joking)—rather than look into reasons why people become disgruntled with the ruling class?! Don’t forget to vote Blue because fascism or vote Red because lawlessness or something?! #SSDD 🙄

Beijing Cancels U.S.-China Military Bilateral Efforts
China’s cancelation of the three military-to-military cooperation could have national security consequences given it reduces the level of engagement between the United States and China. To that end, the China-U.S. Defense Policy Coordination Talks (DPCT) have been in place since early 2005, designed to provide senior level dialogue in support of the China-U.S. Military Maritime Consultative Agreement (MMCA). The MMCA, in place since 1998, is meant to reduce the likelihood of an inadvertent incident at sea.

With the cancelation of the DPCT and MMCA, the likelihood of an incident similar to that which took place in April 2001, when a U.S. EP-3E Aries II aircraft collided with a Chinese aircraft. The EP-3 was able to make an emergency landing on China’s Hainan Island. The 24 crew members were taken into custody and eventually released some 10 days later. It would not be until July 2001 when the dismantled EP3 was flown out of China.

The ability for Defense Secretary Austin to communicate directly with the PRC Minister of National Defense, General Wei Fenghe remains in place. Indeed, in June 2022, Austin and Wei held one-on-one discussions in Singapore where they discussed improving crisis management. Those discussions have clearly been overtaken by events of the day. In addition, “The Secretary reaffirmed the importance of peace and stability across the Strait, opposition to unilateral changes to the status quo, and called on the PRC to refrain from further destabilizing actions toward Taiwan,” according to the Department of Defense readout in the meeting.

Senate Passes $280 Billion Industrial Policy Bill Meant to Counter China
The CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 passed in a vote of 63-33, with 17 Republicans voting in favor. The over 1,000-page legislation includes $52.7 billion for direct funding for the construction and expansion of semiconductor manufacturing and $24 billion for tax incentives and other purposes.
The bill will authorize roughly $200 billion in science and technology research funding that will be spread across several government agencies over the next five years. The largest recipient of the research funds will be the National Science Foundation, which will receive $81 billion.

Third, the CHIPS Act actually has provisions designed specifically to restrict investments in China. These so-called “guardrails” require that companies taking federal dollars for American projects must also agree not to invest in state-of-the-art technology in China—not just with the federal dollars, with any dollars. Good-faith critics have raised fair concerns that these guardrails should be broader, tougher, and firmer. But any guardrails at all represent unprecedented restrictions on what U.S. companies can do in the People’s Republic. It’s one thing to say an ideal bill would hurt China even more; it’s quite another to try and claim that less-than-perfect restrictions count as “help.”

Nancy Pelosi And Husband Sell NVIDIA Corp Stock After Public Pressure

“It is surprising to see the sale. Also, what’s surprising here is that she sold and reported one day later. Usually she takes a couple of weeks. She wanted the public to know she cleared her books of this conflict of interest immediately.”
Congresstrading also noted Pelosi’s filings typically come on Fridays, when the media may potentially bury the story over the weekend.

The Nancy Pelosi Tracker on Twitter, which shares transactions by the Speaker of the House, noted the transaction history of NVIDIA Corporation by the Pelosis dates back to May 2021. According to the account, the Pelosis still own 50 options on NVIDIA Corporation with a strike price of $100 and expiration of Sep. 16, 2022 that were purchased back on July 23, 2021.
Pelosi remains one of the most active filers of stock transactions in Congress due to her husband being a venture capitalist.
