I am writing this trying to contain the rage and indignation I feel at the reactions of the Western left and society in general about the Russian counter-attack against Ukraine.
The goal of the Kosovo Albanians’ hidden agenda is even more blatant now in broad political daylight in the midst of the Ukraine crisis, Тatiana Obrenovic writes.
President Zelensky has just been named by Time magazine “politician of the year 2022”. It is not to have realized his coup de force of July, in favor of the war. He had all the political parties that opposed him banned; assassinated the personalities who resisted him; controlled all the media, written, audiovisual and internet; banned the Russian language; destroyed 100 million books; confiscated many of the assets of the oligarchs, including the one who personally financed him; nationalized the assets of Russian investors and companies; and finally banned the Orthodox Church.
Yelenskyy is a member of parliament of the eighth convocation, representing the People’s Front party, and was an adviser to Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk [“Yats is the guy”] in 2014. He is a scientist, religious scholar, Doctor of Philosophy.
This U.S. Government support for Ukraine to retake Crimea is part of a plan by U.S. President Barack Obama, in which he sidelined his Secretary of State John Kerry and backed Kerry’s subordinate Victoria Nuland when she promised the then Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko that he would continue to enjoy U.S. backing if he expanded his civil war against the breakaway (formerly Ukrainian) region of Donbass so as to invade also Crimea, which had broken away from Ukraine earlier — less than a month after the U.S. coup in Kiev occurred in February 2014. So, the U.S. Government’s now teasing Ukraine’s Government to invade Crimea can’t be understood without knowing its history:
War in Ukraine did not start with Russia’s February 2022 invasion.
Ukraine has been at civil war since 2014, when the US backed a coup to overthrow President Viktor Yanukovych. When the new post-coup government cracked down on ethnic-Russian Ukrainians and their Russian culture, Ukrainians in the eastern Donbas region rose up in rebellion, leading to the creation of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
Anna Soroka, joining the Useful Idiots from Ukraine, is the former Deputy Foreign Minister of the Luhansk People’s Republic. She joins Useful Idiots to share what it’s like being on the other side of a civil war that has now escalated into a full-blown proxy war with Russia.
Sometimes discussions about war can become abstract, but it’s important to go “behind enemy lines” and hear from real people on the other side. It’s a perspective that you don’t get to hear at all in the NATO states. Unless you follow shows like Useful Idiots.
Regarding, my earlier post: MoA, apparently, has an unpopular analysis among independent analysts. Personally, I don’t think it matters what anyone else thinks about it, except for Russia. I’m just presenting a machine translation (my German is limited to guten tag) of everything Merkel said regarding the topic. Thank you, Nicolas Cinquini, for the link (I’ll be posting his analysis, soon)! Merkel’s interview is behind a paywall, so I’m not able to directly link to a translated version (link, below, is to an archived version in German). I copied and pasted the translation from my built-in translator (iPadOS).
Helmholtz Smith, Andrew Korybko and Andrei Martyanov havesomethoughts about a recent interview the former German chancellor Angela Merkel gave to the German weekly broadsheet Die Zeit.
Zelensky did not ban all of the Eastern Orthodox Churches! He only banned the Moscow Patriarchate. There is more than one Eastern Orthodox Church in Ukraine. In 2018, there was a ‘schism’—or autocephaly, depending on who you ask—because of US meddling! The US has a long history of interfering in the Orthodox Church!
The Ecumenical Patriarchate, through the Greek community in the United States, has strong connections to the US Democratic Party, and to the US government in general. Patriarch Athenagoras, most responsible for the uncanonical and blasphemous “lifting of the anathemas” against the Papal religion, was elected Patriarch of Constantinople due to CIA* influence and in January of 1949 was flown on the plane of then President, Harry Truman, to assume his role at Istanbul.
Biden’s election proved the usefulness of such a tool. The campaign against Musk’s Twitter will thereby likely intensify. So will his effort to fight back.
More popcorn please.
MoA links to an article by Matt Taibbi re: Hunter’s laptop. Matt points the NYT story, Joe Biden, His Son and the Case Against a Ukrainian Oligarch, which claims that Mykola Zlochevsky was the owner of Burisma Holdings. Zlochevsky did not own Burisma, at the time, Ihor Kolomoisky did! In 2012, Burisma changed owners to Privat Group, which was owned by Kolomoisky. On another note, the following video is interesting (despite Elon’s Starlink connection cutting out often). He claims that Twitter will be dedicated to the truth. Let’s see if he continues censoring people (re: Scott Ritter, Garland Nixon, etc). Like MoA asks, please pass the popcorn!
