Today I present to you and to the people and the nation my last government report and I do so more convinced than ever that the best of Mexico is its people, heirs of civilizations that flourished long before the arrival of the European invaders. Thanks to the roots of those pre-Hispanic cultures of that deep Mexico, the Mexicans of today are, in their vast majority, hard-working, supportive and honest. The legacy of good principles that were transmitted from generation to generation and that have not disappeared – despite oppression, classism and racism – is what distinguishes us and places us as a country of virtues and greatness.

On 11 and 12 March 2023, the Ukrainian army shelled residential areas in the Donbass region in both the DPR and LPR (Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics) with HIMARS and Smerch multiple rocket launchers and 155 mm NATO shells, killing five civilians, including an eight-year-old child and a 17-year-old teenager, and injuring 18 other civilians, including two children.

On a daily basis, dozens of Ukrainian strikes are targeting civilian facilities, private houses, and public places in cities and villages where no battles are ongoing.
The Ukrainian military is intentionally targeting the strategic civilian facilities like grain warehouses and farms in an attempt to cause famine in the recently liberated regions; as well as public transport hubs in order to disrupt communication and transportation within the towns.

The ban, which it’s hoped will come into force in 2024, aims to reduce meat consumption and the impacts of the climate crisis.
It follows similar prohibitions by other Dutch cities on advertising from fossil fuel and aviation companies.

An investigation by netzpolitik.org shows the potential for abuse of PimEyes, a free search engine for 900 million faces. Whoever’s photos have been published on the Internet could already be part of their database.
