The project aims to compete with China’s Belt and Road Initiative kicked off by Beijing in 2013.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s short visit to Germany pegged on the Indian-German Intergovernmental Commission meeting in Berlin on Monday inevitably came to focus on the Ukraine crisis. The western media would have loved to grill Modi on India’s reluctance to criticise Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. But German hosts thoughtfully skipped the customary Q&A after the joint appearance of Modi and Chancellor Olaf Scholz before the press.

Israel, Biden and the 2022 midterms

The wear and tear suffered by Biden after the fiasco in Afghanistan, runaway inflation and the possible entry into recession of the economy next year after the war in Ukraine, could lead to the Republican victory in the midterm elections of 2022 that would anticipate a triumphant return of Trump in the 2024 Presidential elections and what would be a paradigm of the recent Republican victory in the State of Virginia. Thus, after the fiascoes in Syria, Libya and Iraq, Iran would be the new bait for the Anglo-Jewish plan of the Machiavellian Plan outlined by the Anglo-Jewish Alliance in 1960 to attract both Russia and China and provoke a great regional conflict that will mark future of the area in the coming years and that it would be a new local episode that would be framed in the return to the recurring endemism of the US-Russia Cold War. This conflict could involve the three superpowers (USA, China and Russia) counting as necessary collaborations the regional powers (Israel, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iran), covering the geographical space that extends from the Mediterranean arc (Libya, Syria and Lebanon) to Yemen and Somalia, with Iraq as the epicenter and recalling the Vietnam War with Lindon B. Johnson (1963-1969).

The European Union and China will hold a virtual summit today. Before the summit started Brussels has strewn rumors that it would pressure China to not support Russia.

Has the EU really been ‘captured’by the US? I think not! The major European powers, Germany, France, Italy and Holland (along with the UK), are an integral part of the Imperialist Bloc. When you talk about their interests being harmed, you are conflating the interests of the capitalist classes (and their essential servants) with those of the working people of these countries. Since when have the ruling classes of the Imperialists given a flying fuck about their working classes! They have vast amounts of capital, they’re not touched by the any of it, anymore than by the fake Pandemic. As with ‘traditional’ wars fought by capitalism, this is just another kind of war and as with traditional wars, it’s not only about markets and competing capitalist classes, it’s about destroying capital! It’s just as much a World War as the previous ones, but fought in an entirely different way, using different weapons. It has consumed (or is on the process of consuming) even more surplus capital than WWI/II, you just don’t see it! When will the left wise up? They got conned by the Bug and they’re now being conned by the Sanctions War on the planet!
