In this interview, the Sri Lankan Activist mentions the Frontline Socialist Party were planning on storming the Sri Lankan Parliament and that Victoria Nuland had previously visited Sri Lanka. WSWS says (as does Wikipedia) that they were founded by a breakaway faction of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and refers to them as part of the pseudo-left. Premakumar Gunaratnam (a dual citizen of Sri Lanka and Australia), AKA Kumar Gunaratnam/Noel Mudalige/Kumar Mahathaya/Kumara Mahathaya was the leader.
I suggest that people be skeptical about these protests in Asia and Latin America. I’ve suspected that the US would take advantage of the civil unrest, from the sanctions that they have imposed on Russia, to overthrow opposing governments. Whether this was done intentionally, or they’ve co-opted these movements, I’m unsure.

Against a backdrop of deteriorating living conditions, electricity shortages, rising fuel and bread prices, popular unrest has returned to the streets of Libyan cities since July 1 which, with the inaction of security forces, has degenerated into disorderly acts by angry crowds, accompanied by vandalism, arson and looting. Hundreds of protesters stormed the parliament building in the eastern Libyan city of Tobruk, setting fire to official documents, offices and reception halls, according to the Libya News Agency. According to Alwasat TV, the protesters demanded the dissolution of parliament and the transfer of all electoral powers to the country’s supreme state council.

According to an alleged leaked draft, this pact includes provisions allowing the Solomon Islands to request the presence of Chinese police and military personnel to “assist in maintaining social order, protecting people’s lives and property, providing humanitarian assistance, carrying out disaster response, or providing assistance on other tasks” agreed upon by the Solomon Islands and China.
