Lukashenko wins the election, but his biggest fight may be yet to come

Lukashenko has said that the perpetrators of the internet block are foreign saboteurs, keen to escalate social tensions. Indeed it cannot be denied, that given Washington’s current strategic goals and hostility towards Russia, any attempt to undermine the Belarussian President and sow discord between Russia and Belarus would be in its interest.

“Some people are itching, they keep calling for taking to the streets. They even shut the Internet down from abroad, to make our people displeased. At first, I was drawn to and respected him for his bold books opposing brain-dead Republican orthodoxies on the Iraq War and China policy. It seemed his real-world government experience eerily mirrored my own. I had yet to discover his checkered past, including: his reported role in organizing ex-CIA operatives to steal Jimmy Carter’s 1980 debate materials; 1990’s crack cocaine arrest; and FBI firing in 2011 for “mercurial” behavior, demanding more “compensation” and “questionable allegiance to [intelligence] targets.”

They can’t be violated,” ACTO Executive Director Svetlana Zavidova said by phone. “This is a Pandora’s Box and we don’t know what will happen to people injected with an unproven vaccine.”

ACTO represents a group of multinational companies that conduct clinical trials in Russia, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Novartis AG.

COVID-19 vaccines by Gamaleya Center, Vektor are most promising

The deputy prime minister added that in August of 2020 the vaccine’s “conditional” state certification is planned. This means that after the registration one more clinical study of the vaccine will be conducted on 1,600 people. The launch of industrial production of the Gamaleya Center’s vaccine is planned for September of 2020.

Western Media’s Hysterics Over Russia’s COVID-19 Vaccine

Ah, and a small piquant moment. Several members of the Bloomberg-cited “Association of Clinical Trials Organisations” are developing their own vaccine… But of course, such a sharp statement can in no way be related to their interests, as we know this does not happen in a democracy…
