Despite this furor, most Americans have not been exposed to actual critical race theory nor do they understand what it is. Critical race theory is the examination, principally in law school but also elsewhere at the undergraduate and graduate level in college, of whether systemic racism exists and whether it affects law and public policy — it asks, for example, whether policies that prohibited Black Americans from owning homes have contributed to the stark disparities in wealth between Black and white Americans.Culture warriors are suddenly labeling any discussion of race, racism, discrimination or struggle as critical race theory in an attempt to drive a wedge between Americans and prevent the full and accurate teaching of the American Experiment. They are seeking to ban critical race theory where it is not taught — in K-12 schools — and to discredit it where it is — in law schools and some colleges.

100 dogs flown in to Dane County, looking for furever home

A total of 350 animals flew out of El Paso. One hundred dogs were taken to Dane County and will go to nearby shelters, including the Dane County Humane Society. The rest will go elsewhere in Wisconsin, California and New Jersey, where they will be distributed among other shelters in surrounding states as well.

“There are multiple groups here today taking these animals to Minnesota, Illinois and right here in Wisconsin,” Good said. “So some of these animals are coming to Dane County Humane Society, others are going up to the twin cities.”

On Facebook, the reporter said they had a few cats, too! They’ll be ready for adoption, in the near future!

Whenever some foreign regime that is independent of the U.S. Empire goes after dissenters, U.S. officials trot out the First Amendment to show how different the United States is. Here, people are free to criticize government officials without fear of being put in jail or otherwise punished for exercising their free speech rights, they proudly point out.

Now let me get this straight. A nation bullies and harasses a much smaller neighbor which eventually leads that neighbor to strike back with largely home-made weapons. The larger and more powerful country, armed with state of the art killing machines, attacks its basically unarmed opponent and kills hundreds of civilians, including a large number of children. It also destroys billions of dollars of infrastructure in the poorer and weaker neighbor. Almost immediately after the fighting stops, senior legislators from a third nation that had nothing to do with the war apart from supplying the larger nation with weapons appeared on the scene and promoted the lie that the larger nation had actually been the victim of an unprovoked attack by the “terrorists” running the small nation. They did so publicly while meeting with and endorsing the actions of the government officials from the large nation, which, it would seem, is about to be investigated by an international body for war crimes. They were joined by an ex-officio former foreign minister of the third nation who likewise echoed the propaganda being put out by the large nation. Several of them also promised to provide military assistance worth $1 billion so the large nation could rearm itself.

Since Biden assigned this task to the CIA and similar outfits, which have no medical expertise but plenty of experience in frame-ups and provocations, rather than to the NIH and CDC, it is clear that the administration expects the intelligence community to produce a propaganda case for global sanctions against China.

In embracing what they all know is a conspiracy theory concocted by Chinese exiles and fascistic provocateurs like Steve Bannon, Trump’s former campaign chairman and White House adviser, the US political establishment has given new political life to the widely discredited fabrications of Trump and his most deranged supporters.
