“U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, one of the lead negotiators in talks with Chinese officials, also told reporters it would still be wise to be skeptical of whether China would deliver on certain agreements. He also said there would be no new tariffs as long as China negotiates in good faith.”

Already showing signs that it might fall through. Lighthizer’s phrasing, “as long as China negotiates in good faith,” is similar to Mike Pompeo’s taunts towards Iran, such as the U.S. won’t negotiate with them until they act like a “normal nation.” Laughable, if you know the true history of the American government intervening in Iran’s business!
