Vietnam overtakes China as the Top Exporter to the US of Products made with Forced Uyghur Labor

Attention, Vietnam: According to the Voice of America (VOA), a News Organization that is owned by the United States (US) Government, you are now the top Exporter to the US of Products made using forced Uyghur Labor.

This is again a Case of the US interfering with the Affairs of another Country, something that China almost never does. And this is why Relations between Vietnam and the US will never be really that comfortable since the US will always set Conditions when dealing with them.

For the Record, China has consistently denied that they are exploiting the Uyghurs, this is just another of the US’ Propaganda to demonize China as China has been slowly but surely overtaking them as the main Superpower in the World.

U.S. raids Chinese auto parts maker in Ohio

In September, the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party in September wrote a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas accusing Qingdao Sunsong of moving some of its production to Thailand to evade U.S. tariffs.

The letter identified Qingdao Sunsong’s public filings, which say the company’s products are subject to U.S. import tariffs of 25% imposed on certain goods made in China and that “in order to reduce tariff costs, the issuer has accelerated production in Thailand.”

In the letter to Mayorkas, Republican congressmen Mike Gallagher* of Wisconsin and Darin LaHood of Illinois called Sunsong’s actions a “case of blatant trade fraud that is having a catastrophic impact on American manufacturers.”

China Overtakes Europe in Clean Energy Tech Research

China has become a powerhouse in clean energy, and has overtaken the EU on clean technology research, a paper prepared for the European Commission has shown.

“China has caught up with the EU in R&D expenditure. While Chinese R&D intensity more than doubled since 2000, EU R&D intensity grew much slower. As a result, China caught up with the EU while the US keeps a consistent lead,” according to the brief on the EU-China exposure in trade, investment, and technology.

“China is increasingly becoming a world leader in science and innovation, for several critical technologies outlined in the 2023 Commission Recommendation on critical technology areas for the EU’s economic security,” the authors of the study for the Commission wrote.

China Overtakes Europe in Clean Energy Tech Research

China is eating Europe’s lunch, as well! On another note, the EU should worry more about their dependence, on the US, than on China. Then again, they’re a vassal state of the US.
