Among the many problems that demand the consideration and attention of contemporary mankind, sexual problems are undoubtedly some of the most crucial. There isn’t a country or a nation, apart from the legendary “islands”, where the question of sexual relationships isn’t becoming an urgent and burning issue. Mankind today is living through an acute sexual crisis which is far more unhealthy and harmful for being long and drawn-out. Throughout the long journey of human history, you probably won’t find a time when the problems of sex have occupied such a central place in the life of society; when the question of relationships between the sexes has been like a conjuror, attracting the attention of millions of troubled people; when sexual dramas have served as such a never-ending source of inspiration for every sort of art.

Vladimir Putin Promotes Traditional Culture over “Cancel” Culture – English Subtitles
Russian President Vladimir Putin addresses the plenary session of the 9th St Petersburg International Cultural Forum – the Forum of United Cultures.
His opening remarks note the value of traditional national culture in forms of art, literature, music, language, and values, while noting the growing trend in Western countries of “cancel culture” that, in his view, deviates from historical development and contribution.
This opening address is part of a two-hour segment devoted to the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, which Putin was the main guest at the Plenary Session.
The remaining parts will be uploaded in 25 – 30 minute segments that include questions and comments from participating members of the audience.

Re: Kathie Garcia’s Jan. 26 letter, “What will come of impeachment?”:
I found this letter to be thoughtful and critically important. America is poised on a knifepoint, and we will fall either to the side of reinforcing our most basic morals, values and traditions, or plunge into a new state, where the law of the jungle has replaced the rule of law. President Donald Trump’s one-time guru, Steve Bannon, espoused the intention to tear down government, and that sounded preposterous at the time. Not so preposterous now.
The questions posed by Kathie Garcia’s letter can be answered in this way: The future of America, the lives of our citizens and the morality of our society are in our hands. Our form of government demands that we take responsibility for those we elect to represent us. When they reflect our values and beliefs, we re-elect them. When they fail to do so, we must vote them out. Failure to do so, including failure to vote, means we surrender to special interests, political cults and corrupt influences.
We get to vote on the answers to Garcia’s questions. The fate of our nation tips with the results.
