MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier, supporters of the Serbian opposition, who disagree with results of the recent snap elections, surrounded the National Assembly in the capital city of Belgrade, climbing the steps and trying to break down the doors.
BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — An early official vote count of Serbia’s weekend election on Monday confirmed victory for the ruling populist party in a parliamentary vote in the Balkan country, but political tensions rose over reported irregularities in the capital, Belgrade.

04-12-2023: If the West’s corporate media is anything to go by, popular pro-democracy groups in Myanmar have linked with ethnically based armed organisations in an attempt to restore civilian rule in the South-East Asian nation, which is bordered by Bangladesh and India to the west, Laos and Thailand to the east, and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the north. Supposedly, the Tatmadaw (the military of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar) cancelled elections in February 2021, brought the military to political power, and then proceeded to wage war against all those who resisted the takeover. Of course, this narrative, like many spun in the corporate media of the West, is little but an elaborate fabrication. In reality, the ruling classes of the West, principally those of the United States of America (US) and the United Kingdom (UK) are engaged in yet another proxy war of regime change in Myanmar,[1] which is squarely aimed not only at Naypyidaw, but also against its giant northern neighbour and economic and political partner, the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
The European Commission’s November recommendation that EU candidacy status be granted to Georgia is the latest in a string of hard-won victories the Georgian people have achieved in recent months. In March, hundreds of thousands of Georgians took to the streets and forced the government to abandon a draconian Russian-style NGO law. In October, a controversial partisan gambit to impeach President Salome Zurabishvili failed after vocal opposition both in the parliament and throughout civil society. The loudest voices pushing back against democratic decline in the country belong to youth, civil society, and parliamentarians such as the women on this panel. Women from different political parties are coming together to highlight the importance of expanding political participation and keeping European integration the nation’s top priority.
The Washington-based International Center for Nonviolent Conflict recently released another playbook on color revolutions, called Fostering a Fourth Democratic Wave: A Playbook for Countering the Authoritarian Threat. This center continues the tradition of intervening in the internal affairs of foreign countries in the manner of Gene Sharp, Bruce Ackerman, and other theorists of protest political actions and movements. It should be noted that the executive director of this Center is now Ivan Marovic, one of the leaders of Yugoslav Otpor, who played a key role in the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic.
Law & Justice turned Poland into a rogue state on a par with Viktor Orban’s Hungary. The Polish government clashed with the EU over rule of law, control of the media and funding, all while weaponizing LGBTQ issues and women’s rights. Support for Ukraine brought Warsaw into line with its main EU partners, but even there the mood has soured after Warsaw imposed restrictions on Ukrainian grain and suggested it might stop weapons shipments.
Highest voter turnout, huh?! “Civil society organizations” 🧐 AKA front organizations?!
Hours after President Andrzej Duda approved the creation of a special parliamentary panel to investigate Russia’s meddling in Poland between 2007 and 2022, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said the US shares the concerns “expressed by many observers” that the panel “could be used to block the candidacy of opposition politicians without due process.”
When working for Stratfor (Shadow CIA), Peter Zeihan, et al, met with Srdja Popovic.
Thanks for the email! I think the idea of meeting this April/May is great! Since Stratfor is based in Austin (we also have an office in DC), we would it was very easy to “jump” to Colorado. When are you exactly in Colorado? It is most convenient for me to meet around the first week of May, but i am flexible. Otherwise, I will work on that Peter Zeihan, our “head-analyst” and my “boss”, came with me.
Both Juan Guaidó, and Leopoldo Lopez, have already been trained to use Gene Sharp’s tactics to overthrow a ‘dictator’ in ‘nonviolent ways’, which was used by US-funded OTPOR, to overthrow Yugoslav President Slobodan Milošević (which wasn’t as peaceful as they made it to be), in 2000. Ivan Marović was a member of OTPOR. Another member, Srđa Popović, went on to start CANVAS, which worked with Stratfor to spy on activists and overthrow governments. CANVAS has been declared a terrorist group in the UAE.
