Why America Is Out of Ammunition

This chart is from the Government Accountability Office’s recent report on the Department of Defense’s lack of strategy around corporate mergers. Bow down before Powerpoint you peasants.

Today, as the U.S. is drawn into wars in Israel and Ukraine, as well as the defense of now-peaceful Taiwan, I’m writing about war. Not the policy choices, or whether U.S. military power is a net force for good or ill, but the actual practical machinery behind the American defense base that produces the weaponry necessary to sustain the military.

Why America Is Out of Ammunition

18+: The Ukrainian army bombs the centre of Donetsk

In the late afternoon of 7 November 2023, the Ukrainian army shelled the centre of Donetsk with Himars multiple rocket launchers. Although Russian anti-aircraft defences managed to shoot down several rockets, two slipped through the net and hit the social welfare building, completely destroying the staircase and causing the ceiling to collapse on the employees inside. Six civilians were killed and 11 injured. While firefighters and journalists were at the scene, the Ukrainian army shelled the same area a second time. As a result of this second strike, one of the police officers responsible for traffic in the bombed area was injured.

colonel cassad: about complacency

Regarding the articles that have become more frequent in the West about how bad things are with the US in Ukraine. The publication of articles is related to the necessary reflection and anti-crisis, in connection with the collapse of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The consumer needs to explain why everything failed. The US is to blame for not giving something on time. Stupid Ukrainian generals who don’t know how to fight are to blame. Stupid Ukrainian soldiers who can’t use Western equipment are to blame. The bushes are to blame. The Christmas trees are to blame. The weather is to blame. The Russians are to blame. Putin is to blame. And so on, it’s necessary to emphasize. Ukraine will certainly continue to receive money and weapons to continue the war, already under the stories about the “successful offensive in 2024.” The US is not going to curtail the war in Ukraine. Neither now nor in the near future. Work on this is going on regularly. The fact that it has become more difficult to do does not mean that it will be given up and the war will end by itself. The best way to end the war on our terms is the military defeat of the opposing enemy. It will not be possible to achieve it quickly, so we must be ready for a long struggle with the US and NATO in Ukraine.

US and Europe in Talks With Ukraine on Possible ‘Peace Deal’ With Russia – Report

As for ‘peace’ talks with Ukraine, Moscow has repeatedly indicated that it is ready for negotiations, but Kiev has introduced a ban on them at a legislative level. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized at the UN General Assembly in September that Moscow would not consider any proposals of a ceasefire, “because the one time we did consider it, you [Kiev] deceived us.” Speaking about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s 10-point “Peace Formula,” Sergey Lavrov noted it is not remotely realistic, although the West regards it as the only basis for peace in Ukraine.
