The CIA didn’t just infiltrate governments; it infiltrated the internet itself. For over a decade, Langley operated a sprawling network of covert websites that served as global spy terminals disguised as harmless blogs, news hubs, and fan pages.
Update: I uploaded a video of myself to verify that I am human, and it was accepted. I recorded the video while lying in bed in my pajamas and I didn’t do my hair. I hope that it scared someone! 😹
I don’t know why they deleted my ID the first time. I’m not a big channel, so of course I’m not going to get the views for a sufficient channel history despite having this channel for over a decade. Maybe I should start posting videos on the idiotic culture wars to get views? /s Anyway, my links are no longer clickable until my ID review is complete and approved. 🙄
I’ve been using my VPN because I can’t access certain websites, for some reason. Websites from China-cn and Cuba-cu are two examples. I suspect that it’s my Spectrum internet because the websites work with my Verizon data (my internet connection is worse with Verizon than with Spectrum). Anyway, I found out that I can’t access the Philippines’ government websitewith my VPN set to certain locations (I usually use Chicago). Likewise, if I set it to Canada or Hong Kong, it doesn’t work. If I set it to Detroit, New York, Miami, Phoenix, Armenia, or India, it works. I haven’t tested every single location, though. I just find it interesting that they are blocking certain locations. It could be Surfshark, for all I know. 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve talked before about the utter stupidity (and danger) of trying to turn the internet into Disneyland: a safe space for little kids, where they’ll never encounter any content that makes them upset, but plenty of states (and many people in Congress) are trying to do it anyway.
Wrote to Tammy Baldwin about how Republicans want to censor LGBT content with the KOSA bill that she is sponsoring! I included the following Techdirt article in my email! Not one word, about it, in her reply to me (which is just a form letter)! In fact, I didn’t bring up anything that she mentioned! As she is a LGBT person, I thought that she’d be concerned but I guess not?!
Meanwhile, Republicans are now freely admitting that they’re going to use KOSA to force websites to censor LGBTQ content. They’re literally proud of it. The Heritage Foundation, which at least used to have some principled stances before being taken over by culture warriors without any principles, is bragging about how it will use KOSA in this manner:
