U.S. Funds Ukraine Groups Censoring Critics, Smearing Pro-Peace Voices + More

American taxpayers are footing the bill for Ukrainian NGOs focused on smearing proponents of a diplomatic solution as “Russian disinformation” agents.

Personal post: 04-30-2024

I’ve uploaded a few video clips to my Rumble. Otherwise, I haven’t been doing many. This following video I found on Reddit.

TikTokNora Yang

Earlier today, I finished listening to Capital, Vol. 1. I’m definitely going to have to read the book, as I did fall asleep during a couple of chapters. Bad me, I know. It’s been hard for me to listen to audiobooks, anymore, because I’ve been falling asleep to a YouTube playlist for the past few years.

Anyway, I’m tired, and I am going to take a cat nap. Good night!

Trump Sold-Out His Base to Shovel $95 Billion to Ukraine and Israel

America last. America last. That’s all this is. America last, every single day. – Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene

The man who is most responsible for the $95 billion giveaway to Ukraine and Israel, is the same guy who pretends to oppose America’s “wasteful” foreign wars. Donald Trump. It was Trump who consulted with Speaker Mike Johnson about the contents of the Ukraine aid package, just as it was Trump who concocted the idea of issuing loans instead of dispersing the standard welfare handout. It was also Trump who said:

I guess that YouTube made my decision for me

YouTube removed one of my videos for ‘misinformation’. They didn’t tell me what the ‘misinformation’ was, though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The most annoying part about it, is not being able to use my playlists! I add videos to a playlist so that I can multitask while listening to them. Now, I have to listen to any new videos, one by one. At least I have over 200 videos in my current playlist to listen to, uninterrupted. 😹

U.S. Helps Pro-Ukraine Media Run a Fog Machine of War

As Congress debates major new funding to support the Ukrainian war effort, U.S. taxpayer dollars are already flowing to outlets such as the New Voice of Ukraine, VoxUkraine, Detector Media, the Institute of Mass Information, the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine and many others. Some of this money has come from the $44.1 billion in civilian-needs foreign aid committed to Ukraine. While the funding is officially billed as an ambitious program to develop high-quality independent news programs; counter malign Russian influence; and modernize Ukraine’s archaic media laws, the new sites in many cases have promoted aggressive messages that stray from traditional journalistic practices to promote the Ukrainian government’s official positions and delegitimize its critics.

On Vladimir Lenin and Music

I was just looking into the origin of this quote by Lenin, which led me to look up The Internationale on Apple Music (YouTube). While doing so, I found this album, History of the Soviet Union in Ballad and Song, Vol. 1 (YouTube). Anyway, I’m still tired, so going back to sleep.

Maxim Gorky: V. I. Lenin

…Listening to Beethoven’s sonatas played by Isai Dobrowein at the home of Y. P. Peshkova in Moscow one evening, Lenin remarked:

“I know of nothing better than the Appassionata and could listen to it every day. What astonishing, superhuman music! It always makes me proud, perhaps naively so, to think that people can work such miracles!”
Wrinkling up his eyes, he smiled rather sadly, adding:

“But I can’t listen to music very often, it affects my nerves. I want to say sweet, silly things and pat the heads of people who, living in a filthy hell, can create such beauty. One can’t pat anyone on the head nowadays, they might bite your hand off. They ought to be beaten on the head, beaten mercilessly, although ideally we are against doing any violence to people. Hm-what a hellishly difficult job!”

You Will Own Nothing and You Will Be Happy…or Not

My internet is down, and I still can’t access my Google Documents. After resetting my network settings, once again, I found that it’s now Charter Communications (Spectrum) that is down. Depending on cloud storage for Google Documents, and a subscription business model (along with cloud storage) for Apple Music, made me think of this TED talk that I watched a few months ago.

About Orit Dolev

No, I haven’t found any connection to the World Economic Forum, and I’m not going to waste any more time looking, as that’s not the point of this post. I do wonder how many people, who believe in the ‘Great Reset’, use either cloud storage or a subscription service. Just do a search for the World Economic Forum and cloud computing, or the World Economic Forum and subscription business model, and you’ll see that they mention them, often.

Anyway, I need to stop dilly-dallying around, online, and set up my laptop. That and install my new modem and wireless mesh network. I’ve been meaning to do it for a while now. First, I need some sleep.
